Putting A Stop To Animal Abuse Once And For All Through REAL Accountability
Talking about ending animal abuse is like talking about world peace. Both sound good, but very few people put the needed teeth behind it to make a difference. The Animal Justice League of America is stepping up and showing their teeth to create the change needed in ending animal abuse throughout the country.
AJLA is a dedicated group of volunteers that advocate ending animal abuse through REAL accountability. We preach the importance of reporting animal abuse not only to local authorities but to AJLA as well. We understand that at certain times we want immediate results, but we urge everyone to be patient. Making such large changes takes time. We can assure you that we will continue to work with local law enforcement to help support our efforts as well as working to change laws so that abusers have to face REAL accountability for their actions. The only way to do this is to get our message out and have people report animal abuse and cruelty when they see it.
Less than 2,000 animal abuse cases get reported in a year according the Human Society of the United States. This is due to the fact that a majority of people are afraid to report animal abuse when they see it. Some simply don’t like having any involvement with law enforcement, others have no belief that the law enforcement system will actually do something. This is where the Animal Justice League of America is different. We have created an online environment where people can feel safe making a report of animal abuse or cruelty on our website. With everyone’s help AJLA can make a difference ending animal abuse.
